The show is set to commence on January 4th, 2013 at 2:00 PM. The hour long show will merge information and entertainment from the perspectives of an array of guitar greats from all styles to discuss music, gear, technique, song writing, and more. Currently guests scheduled to appear on the show include Carl Verheyen of Supertramp, Ron Thal of Guns and Roses, Jimi Hazel of 24-7 Spyz, Oz Noy, Josh Smith, Neal Schon of Journey fame, Brian Ray, and Tori Ruffin. And that’s just to get the wheels turning.

There are a few approaches to getting in the loop on Guitar Shop, but the most accessible would be to swing by Oscar’s Guitar Shop Facebook page and hit the like button. It’s that simple. Facebook will keep you in the loop after that and doing so will be so awesome it will literally count as philanthropy.

If you’re like me and have a day job that says “you need to be here when that show is airing” inhibiting you from absorbing its wisdom then fear not.  Liking his Facebook page bridges a gap and offers links to download all shows after they’ve aired.

A Bit About Oscar Jordan

Who is this masked vigilante that steals to the streets during the starlit hours of the nocturne, righting wrongs by the majestic powers of his guitar?

When not performing the aforementioned tasks Oscar Jordan utilizes his fine sense of culture to develop classic hit articles including his essay on cues that your band audition might not be as worthwhile as you thought and his thesis on giving the audience an experience they can feel.

Not to be overlooked is his Albums The Milk Crate series as well as his album reviews for artists like Steve Vai, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, or Fastway, his interviews with guitarists like Greg Howe and Joe Bonamassa to name just a couple.

In addition to Guitar-Muse Oscar Jordan has been a contributing writer for some other guitar and music web sites including Mojo Magazine, Premier Guitar, Vintage Guitar, and Music Connection. When not occupying himself with writing Oscar unites with his own league of justice and by their powers combined they form Oscar Jordan and The Sons of Hercules where they hulk-smash the faces of any within earshot with a concentrated sound wave blast of sheer blues might. And on top of that Oscar’s been known to delve into the wondrous world of Oz that is acting for television, movies, and commercials.

You can always swing by Oscar’s personal web site to see his endeavors in greater detail.

A Bit About LA Talk Radio

Let’s talk LA Talk Radio. Founded by Sam Hasson the idea that began in 2007 to form an internet radio station that would offer listeners a greater variety of shows with a higher expectation of entertainment. In 2008 LA Talk Radio was born and currently offers an expansive selection of shows over two separate radio channels to 12,000 to 30,000 listeners a month per show. That’s a lot and considering it’s well past my “bed time” I’m not doing the math.

But what good is an article about a radio show without a link? If you need more LA Talk Radio to quench your thirst then click on the blue words.
