Get Some Pedals On At The Guitar Pedal Expo
It will be on April 7 – that’s just a few days out – and it starts at 10am and runs all the way up until 5pm.
If you’re a pedal nut, or just a guitarist who uses pedals, you’ll find plenty to check out – and even play. They’re telling attendees to bring their guitar and a cable – so you can check out any pedal with an axe that’s your comfortable and used to – and you’ll know exactly how it’s going to sound with your guitar.
They’ll supply the amps and the pedals – and get this – no volume restrictions.
There will be dedicated, private demo rooms to facilitate the high volume earful you’re looking for, and there will also be a “pedal exchange” where you can swap pedals with fellow attendees.
There will be prizes, and you’ll also (of course) be able to purchase any and all pedals that you fall in love with while at the show. So bring some money too. There will also be custom basses, but of course the show revolves mainly around the pedals and their manufacturers. You’ll find rare, vintage, boutique, and all forms of collectible pedals at this show.
Manufacturers you’ll see at the show:
Antique Electonic Supply
Audio Kitchen amps
Big Joe Stompbox
Dirty Boy Saraceno
Form Factor Audio
GBP Custom Guitars
George L cables
Kemper Profiling amp
Majik Box pedals
Marshall custom amp
One Control Pedal switching
Another Show From Loni Specter – The 2013 NY Amp And Custom Show
Here’s a show those on the other coast of the U.S. – featuring over 40 manufacturers showcasing amps, cabinets, pedals, guitars, and more. There will also be prizes, on both days. It’s $20 admission at the door. They’ll also be giving away a set of Dunlop strings to the first 50 people who show up in the line each day.
This show will be on Saturday and Sunday – June 1st and 2nd, 2013. Again, no volume restrictions – and you can bring your guitar, plug in and crank away. It will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, in Piscataway, NJ.
