Steve Vai's New Guitar TV

Just the other day a certain guitar virtuoso known to the world as Steve Vai confessed that he’s had GuitarTV.com incubating on the back burner for quite some time now and as of May 10th GuitarTV.com will be open for business.

And now in your place I will ask the rhetorical questions “What is GuitarTV.com and why does it matter?”  Isn’t that thoughtful of me?

GuitarTV.com is, when it goes live, a 24-hour streaming video showing more guitarists than you can shake a stick at in concerts, movies, whatever.  And why should you care?  Steve Vai’s running it.  Case closed.  Not enough?  Fine.  As a guitarist it seems only logical that you would want to see people playing the guitar.  Do I really need to go into detail about that?  If you don’t like watching guitarists then you are a defective guitarist yourself.

There will be a live stream for the launch of GuitarTV.com at Musicians Institute in Hollywood for the grand opening where we will all rejoice and there will be cake.

In addition if you participate in this live stream you will have a chance to win an Ibanez Jem, though the rules are clear that you must schedule your presence here and you must be present to claim your trophy.
