Summer NAMM 2012 is just around the corner and come Saturday the 14th public day will be wide open for everyone. For a quick $15 you can hit the floor, see the gear, check the events, maybe even enjoy the food. Here is a list of all the events planned for public day to better help you plan ahead.

It’s a drum competition. Are you a bad enough dude to play the drums faster, harder, longer, and stronger than the rest?
How to Use a Workstation
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Room 102
Rich Formidoni, the technology product manager of Korg USA, gives a lecture on using a workstation keyboard with a recording studio. The lecture will include a demonstration of the Kronos Music Workstation while covering song writing, recording, effect processing, and integrating with a computer.

Session musicians extraordinaire Craig Krampf and Dave Pomeroy run through the expectations of studio musicians. They will also create the feeling of a session musician and record a previously unheard song in a short amount of time as though they were in a session at that moment.
