As we covered a while back here, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani are staging a benefit concert for their friend Cliff Cultreri, on July 10th, at 8PM PST.

Also, Joe Satriani, Vai, and Paul Gilbert are each auctioning off a guitar for the benefit as well.

If you’re in the vicinity of the House of Blues on that date, of course you can go in person, (tickets here) – but if you’re not – you can watch the show on GuitarTV for a mere $5.99 donation to Cliff’s cause.

Here’s a link to more info on the donation / live streaming show.

Here’s a little from the man himself on Cliff, the show, and the auctions:

That’s not all Vai is doing to help his friend, however, in fact – Vai, Satriani and Paul Gilbert are each donating a guitar to be auctioned for Cliff as well.
